Jennifer Walker

Dr. Jennifer Walker is a musicologist whose research is focused on the intersections between music, religion, and politics in secular societies. Jennifer is currently working on a research project that examines the gendered reception of French opera in the late nineteenth century. She is an Honors College Faculty Fellow (2021–22). Originally from east Tennessee, she came to West Virginia by way of North Carolina--she is still getting used to these WV hills!
