The Skriker: Panel Discussion
The WVU School of the Theatre & Dance DEI Committee and the WVU Council for Gender Equity Outreach Committee are co-hosting a panel discussion in conjunction with the production of Caryl Churchill’s “The Skriker.” Panelists include Dr. Brianne Depcrymski (Carruth Center), El Didden (WVU School of Medicine, WVU Rainbow Coats), and Taylor Scites (WVU LGBTQ+ Center). Exploring themes from “The Skriker,” the panel will discuss mental and reproductive health. Panelists and other campus resources will be available for further connection at the reception (serving lights snacks and refreshments) after the talk.
The discussion will take place on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 3 p.m. in
the CCAC Davis Theatre, followed by a reception (light refreshments will be served) in
the CCAC Falbo Theatre. The event is free. Reservations are strongly suggested
as seating is limited.

Phenomenal Women 2022 - Appreciation Event
In celebration of the amazing women work with every day in WVU community and beyond, please join the Women of Color Committee of the WVU Council for the first annual Phenomenal Woman 2022 Appreciation Event on April 21st, 2022 at 6 pm via Zoom. This inaugural event is an opportunity to recognize phenomenal women on the WVU campus and in the Greater Morgantown Community. This virtual celebration will highlight the work women are doing in the community and provides an opportunity to recognize all that we do every day to make this community great. This event will include prizes for the winners! If you would like to nominate a phenomenal woman for the recognition event please fill out the nomination form by April 18th at the below web address.

Family Field Day
The Council for Gender Equity (CGE) is sponsoring a Family Field Day on Sunday, April 24 from 1:00 - 5:00 pm at the WVU Rec Center fields (rain location will be inside the Rec Center).
Come out and play at Family Field Day! This event is for families of WVU staff, faculty, students, and the greater Morgantown area community. Families are invited to come and enjoy different activities sponsored by various campus organizations, learn about health and wellness, and have fun! After we have all experienced such a mentally challenging couple of years, our goal is to provide a social, fun, and healthy afternoon for families. Hope to see you there!
