WVU Student, Women's and Gender Studies & Interdisciplinary Studies
Isabel is a junior in the Honors college, double majoring in Women’s and Gender Studies and Interdisciplinary Studies with minors in History, Sociology and Professional Writing. She is also the president of the Women's and Gender Studies Honors Society, Iota Iota Iota and the vice president of WVU Students for Reproductive Justice. Her research interests are centered around masculinity and the social construction of gender, the absence and removal of women from religion, the histories of matriarchies in Native and Indigenous communities and transnational feminist issues surrounding gender-based violence. When she isn’t out and about promoting her feminist agenda, you can find Isabel passionately screaming along to Taylor Swift's entire discography.
